Our White Glove Service is an exclusive, comprehensive experience unlike any other in the country. It is designed for those individuals who want a dog, but are concerned about potential problem behavior. These clients are looking for a VIP service and a life companion for their family. Some have concerns that include, but are not limited to, difficulties with house soiling, chewing, excessive barking, aggression, or general noncompliance. Others simply want a well-mannered pet who listens even when off leash. They may live outside the Kansas City metro area (anywhere in the United States) and want our unique expertise in animal behavior.
The program starts with an interview reviewing your needs and the needs of your family. Within one week of the interview, we contact you with general traits and breeds that fit your family’s needs. After agreeing upon the best type of dog for your family, we begin our search for your new companion. We arrange to pickup your dog and they enter our training program immediately. Your dog lives with us for an extended period of time (approximately 5 months) prior to coming to their permanent home. The program ensures good habits are formed and well established prior to your dog entering your home.
During training we treat your dog as a new addition to our family. As such, they live in our home as we begin an intense training program. The program starts by establishing good household manners including housebreaking, chewing, play biting, and jumping. We cover on and off leash obedience including sit, down, stay, come, heel, and go to your place. We ensure that your dog is properly socialized with other dogs, guests, and children by taking them on daily outings and weekly play dates. Many client dogs have even vacationed with us! Although there are general behaviors that we teach, we cater the training program to your family’s needs per the initial interview. Throughout the program you will be contacted with weekly updates, including pictures and videos of your soon-to-be companion.
Upon completion of the program, we bring your fully trained dog to you. We spend 5 days in the city where you live and teach you everything your dog knows. Before leaving your family, we ensure that you understand and feel comfortable with your new companion. Over the course of the next few months, we offer support with any questions or concerns you may have. In fact, you have our support for the life or your new dog.
